Following in the footsteps of Gigabyte , today we come across the MSI Project Zero , and it seems that the next trend in the gaming industry is to have no visible power connections, ports or cables on your PC , and basically we are looking at a modified MSI MEG Unify Z690 motherboard where all the ports and connections have been fixed to the back of the PCB. This helps to offer a cleaner design, completely hidden by aluminum heatsinks, while the connections, and all the wiring linked to them (power cables, chassis cables, fans, SATA cables, etc.) are hidden in the back of the chassis.
The only visible ports are those for the DDR5 RAM, which will be hidden when installing the modules themselves, as well as the PCI slots, at least one of which will be hidden under the GPU.

This also has a few drawbacks, and many chassis may be incompatible , as they weren't designed with the necessary clearances to prevent these connectors from colliding and making it impossible to install the motherboard. Obviously, this will be a great visual advance for those worried about seeing cables, but of course, this entails new manufacturing processes, and that will have to be paid for . For now, in the short term, no product of this type, at least not a motherboard, is expected to be mass-produced for sale. For now, everything is just concepts, like trial balloons.
